Yo! MTV Raps Cards, Public Enemy
March 14th, 2017

Yo! MTV Raps was instrumental in introducing an entire generation of kids to a powerful new style of music that was previously regarded by the mainstream media as a niche genre solely for the inner city. Originally hosted by hip hop pioneer Fab 5 Freddy, then later on by the iconic Dr. Dre and Ed Lover, the program showcased the biggest and greatest acts of hip hop's golden age, including Public Enemy. Though MTV canceled the show more than twenty years ago, "Yo! MTV Raps" is still beloved by classic hip hop fans for helping to define the style and sound of one of the most beloved eras in music history.
