Public Enemy's "Mine Again" Official Video
March 15th, 2017

From Public Enemy's video for "Mine Again," off of their 2015 album "Man Plans, God Laughs." S1W James Bomb joins Chuck D on this track, which calls attention to the on-going injustices created by a history of colonialism and the continued modern exploitation of the people of Africa. "Was it all worth it? Is Africa really ours?," Bomb asks. "This mine got me thinking / All this death and destruction / Let's not forget about the corruption / To rob the motherland of its resources / Is Africa mine? / Or the people who sit in the seat of power? / Mine again, mine again."
