On this month in 2005, Public Enemy's "Fear of A Black Planet" album, which was originally released in 1990, was officially accepted into The Library of Congress' National Recording Registry, which archives and preserves recordings that"are culturally, historically, or aesthetically important, and/or inform or reflect life in the United States."
