Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise"
June 2nd, 2017

Public Enemy's "Bring the Noise" will turn an astounding thirty years old this year, and despite the amount of change that has occurred in the last three decades, the song remains as prescient and as popular as ever. Still lauded for the metrical complexity of Chuck D's rap and The Bomb Squad's production, the song is held up as the epitome of the classic PE sound, as well as one of the stand out tracks of hip hop's golden age. The song was included on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
