It's official, Ainge wanted to tank games

"Obie was a coach that I have a great deal of admiration for to this day," Ainge said following the Celtics' season-ending, 90-75 loss to the Pacers at the FleetCenter. "I'm not happy he's going to Philly because I think he's a very good coach. But, I think [O'Brien and his staff] came in with the design to win every single basketball game."

Ainge should be asked to clarify that statement, which I doubt he could do, and then be fired immediately.

Why does he want to be in the lottery anyway? To draft a highschool kid with 50/50 chance of becoming a solid player 3-4 years from now.

I don't see the purpose of tanking games with the quality of potential players in this years upcoming draft. There are no sure bets like a Tim Duncan or Lebron James. Okafor from UCONN and that High School kidd might be good but i wouldn't say they are "sure things". Then there is no guarantee the Celtics will even get the first pick with the lottery system the NBA employs. If he ran Obie out of Boston to tank games, his competence as a GM has to be questioned.

Its been three years now and dumb ass Danny Ainge is still tanking games. He will get fired and ran out of Boston after this year.
